Carson Strachan - General Board

Carson Strachan has been an official since the 2020 season. He joined during the COVID-19 pandemic to help with the shortness of officials and quickly fell in love with it. Carson works hard on and off the ice to continuously improve the craft of officiating for himself and everyone around him.

Carson worked the most games for the association during the 2021-2022 season and hasn't slowed down. He works everything from 10U to College & Juniors and is always willing to help out officials in a pinch. Carson also represents Utah outside the state working in the NA3HL and NAPHL. He works hard to bring the knowledge that he learns in those leagues and spreads it to our officials here in Utah.

Carson works as a Software Engineer during the day. When not at a rink, Carson can be found with his beautiful wife, Elizabeth, and 2 mini poodles, Apollo and Winston. Carson is the worst golfer on the board.
